This book consists of a prologue (given in the first book but included here for continuity), a seven-chapter series about the identical twin boys, John Dexter "Jack" Dover, IX and Henry Charles "Hank" Dover, and their experiences. These two adventuresome young men are part of the nine-men crew of Earth's first interstellar vehicle, which gets beyond our Solar System only to discover that Mankind is already out there. Also included are four tales set a decade after their historical trip and talk about their own experiences with their own children over the holiday seasons of Halloween, Thanksgiving, a birthday and a winter family gathering shortly before Christmas. I regret to report that this serial adventures of this family were intended to go longer, but the fan who was commissioning the stories has "ghosted" me though his payments continued. After giving him four months to write me back, I am going to start refunding his monthly payments if they continue, as I have no clue what has happened to him.
