Twenty short stories, seventeen were story ideas totally original by me, two were for PGG who's a fan of one boy and multiple men and pays for extra-long stories, and one was for my proofreader XPR, who I pay by writing one story a month for him (and he can ask for some odd ones. I did my best on these three commission jobs, trying to make them as original and exciting as I can, so you should have trouble telling the difference here even though I label those stories here.

The stories in this book are:
The Flowering--On a world which was cut off from contact wiht other planets for a long time, there has been a unique method of dealing with the problem of survival. But as the xenoanthropologist learns one day, their solution requires that every boy on his sixth birthday (eight Earth years) must start living with an adult man who provides him the hormonal boost he needs to mature...by having nightly sex with the boy!

The Devil Went Down to Gardena--A young boy discovers in an abandoned basement a magic bottle that contain not a genie, but the Devil himself. The Devil must grant the boy any wish he wants...but then gets to take his soul to Hell. So the boy's wish has got to be good one!

Dial-A-Boy--In the future, our hero wakes up to find his gay lover has worked a bit of mischief during the night. Then it's time to make sure he gives the lover as good as he gets.

Day of the Karen--Cody is with his mother at the furniture store to pick up a new bedroom suite for Cody. It's not ready and Cody's mom proceeds to pitch a "Karen" to end all Karens, leaving Cody to find something to do while his mother throws her fit. A PGG story.

The Return of Gordon Ketter--Gordon Ketter, the town bully, dies one day and everyone is relieved...but Michael's dad is a great inventor who comes up with a way to reanimate Gordon, who turns out to be very, very different than he used to be.

The Ghost Boys of Harpington House--Harpington House was a poorly-run boy's orphanage for many years, but has been revived during the Great Depression into a boarding house for single men. Our hero is one such man who takes a room to find the prior occupant pays him a nightly visit.

Runaways' Home--Our young hero flees a house with an abusive father and takes refuge in an empty, unused restaurant, to find there is already an occupant there, a teenager who fled a similar fate and they form a new life together.

The Exorcist of Dalmitia--On a Lost World of the former Empire of Man, the people live in a Medieval-like era, and an important person there is our hero, who is an exorcist, only his profession is nothing like religious in nature, nor his method of exorcizing the demons that strike young boys.

A Jumping Jack--Written for XPR as a sort-of-sequel to a prior story. A boy has been used as a gambler's "marker" and left with a bookie. The bookie's hired thug takes the boy in charge and they form a unique bond in which a antique toy "jumping jack" plays a part.

A Boy and his Dog--Our young hero is at the pound adopting a dog, and he chooses a noble-looking German Shepherd, who has a secret that he displays when the moon turns full. A sort of reverse werewolf story.

Quiet as a Mouse--Harold, who is living with his sister and her boarders, finds himself pressed into service babysitting a young boy, who he tells to keep quiet while he plays or he'll be banished to his room. Well, the boy keeps quiet, it's Harold who has trouble keeping quiet as the boy plays.

The Children of Castle Lazrescu--The Lazrescu Family is the lead family of the valley, and regularly a young boy or girl is chosen to live at the castle where they receive excellent care and education. However, there is a price that the boy has to pay for this, and that is the secret of the Lazrescu Family.

The Boy in the Back Seat--The car thief who steals the car doesn't see the sleeping boy in the back seat until he's back at their chop shop. This boy turns out to have been abandoned by his mother, but finds a new life with these thieves of the car.

Wyrmfire--A wyrm (dragon to the rest of us) attacks a village causing great damage. A peasant man finds a boy whose family has been killed by the wyrm and takes him to his home, to find that the beginning of a new and incredible life has begun.

The Cleaning Woman's Son--Jacinto goes with his mother to clean an office after hours and Jacinto, left to behave and keep quiet, encounters a late-working associate who gives Jacinto something to do with his time while his mother finishes working.

An Agent's Loyalties--Cale is a agent given the job of a "honey pot," that is to seduce a person to obtain information about a crime ring. Only his target happens to be a young boy and his job is to get him to talk whatever it takes.

The Planet of Eunuchs--A Lost World of the Empire had major population issues, but their answer is astonishing even to the Republic's xenoanthropologist assigned to this planet.

Sean O'Flaherty and the Little People--Studly Sean falls asleep in a small grove, but wakes up to find himself surrounded by miniscule boys who check out his handsome muscled form with glee and sexual curiosity. There is a secret Sean is to learn as he revisits the grove again and again.

Daddy Got Audited--When Dad's business gets audited, our young hero is asked to come to the office. His job is to assist the auditors as needed, but he takes his job to a new level. A PGG story.

Adam and Steve--Adam is driving to start his vacation when a screeching sound of brakes and a vehicle accident happens. Adam wakes up surround by nothingness, just a young boy, Steve, and learns that the miracle of his new life is nothing less than the start of a new Heaven and a new Earth.
